Greetings SCABSE Family,
It has been an absolute honor to serve as your President-Elect/
Conference Chair. Your presence and participation in this year’s
conference is valued and appreciated. It is a true testimony of your
commitment and dedication to ensuring the best education for all
students. This time of uncertainty and unprecedented challenges
we face today have made it imperative that we strive to Reimagine
Education: Focus on Innovation, Equity and Social Emotional
Learning.
The Conference Committee has collaborated and worked tirelessly
to create a meaningful and focused-driven weekend that will provide
opportunities for professional learning, growth and networking. It is the Committee’s desire that
each of you will return to your respective locations with a renewed passion to be an advocate for
children and help create equitable learning environments they each unequivocally deserve.
With your unwavering support and renewed passion, we can continue to achieve our mission of
ensuring a high-quality education for all children, particularly for African-American children,
by establishing coalitions, providing forums, facilitating the placement of African-American
professionals, and influencing public policy.
