Meet the Speaker: T. Jackson
The Voorhees University Center of Excellence for Educator Preparation and Innovation (EPI)
will share new approaches to forging meaningful, mutually beneficial partnerships between
Higher Education Institutions and K-12 school systems to address teacher shortages, educator
preparation, and equity disparities. Attendees will have an opportunity to examine their
recruitment and retention strategies, explore opportunities to impact teacher effectiveness, and
strategize on ways to cultivate new partnerships and leverage external funding to impact their
student populations and communities.
