Meet the Speaker: P. Mills
Based on my experience as an alternative school principal for eight years, my staff and I were
able to build a positive culture in a not-so-positive environment. We turned the environment
around to the point that some students and parents asked to stay in the alternative setting or
purposely returned. Of course, not all, but the impact over my eight years was positive and
proven.
